小さい時から2つの外国語を楽しく学んできた経験をしてきた言語マスターのJanice！自分の経験から外国語を身につけるコツを知っているJaniceは子供たちとの関わりをとっても大事にしてくれています！

Hello I’m Janice!

I was born and raised in the rainy city of Seattle. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Early Childhood Studies. Since my mother moved to the US from Hong Kong, I learned how to speak Chinese and was raised with a heavy influence from Hong Kong culture. In high school, I started studying Japanese and became interested in learning more about the country.

As a teacher, my priority is that students have fun while learning, since that is what will motivate them to stay curious and keep wanting to learn more. Having studied two languages myself, I found that talking to others was fun and the fastest way to understand the language better. That’s why I try to talk to as many students as I can at Wings!

I hope that they can enjoy the experience of studying English and continue to learn outside of the classroom. Thank you for reading and nice to meet you!

こんにちは、私はジャニスです!

私は雨の街、シアトルで生まれ育ちました。ワシントン大学で心理学と幼児学を専攻し、学士号を取得しました。母が香港からアメリカに移住したため私は中国語を学び、香港の文化の影響を強く受けて育ちました。高校時代には日本語を勉強し始め、この国についてもっと知りたいと思うようになりました。

私は教師として、生徒が楽しみながら学べることを第一に考えています。なぜなら、それが生徒の好奇心を刺激し、もっと学びたいと思わせるからです。私自身、2カ国語を勉強した経験がありますが、人と話すことは楽しく、言語をより深く理解するための最短の方法だと思います。だから、ウィングスではできるだけ多くの生徒と話すようにしています。
