オーストラリア屈指の大学、モナシュ大学で遺伝子学を勉強するモナリ。
日本人とオーストラリア人のハーフで英語に加えて日本語も使いこなすバイリンガル。
勤務初日から子供達の心を掴む、その明るい性格は彼女の賢さと相まって、最高の講師の１人となっています。

My name is Yasmin, I am half Japanese, half Australian and come from Melbourne Australia.
I am currently on a study break (gap year) from University, where I’m studying Genetics.

I have had previous experience teaching, through a work experience program at my high school, where I was an assistant teacher at a school for autistic children.
I learnt from this experience that every child (English speaking or not) was different and had a unique way of learning new things.
The experience made me a more understanding and patient person/ teacher than I was beforehand.

I also have experience tutoring high school student in Biology and Maths.
Again with these students I had to change and adapt the way I explained things for each student so that they could understand but also have fun.

私の名前はヤスミンです、みんなからはモナリって呼ばれています！
私はオーストラリアと日本のハーフで、オーストラリアのメルボルンの出身です。
遺伝子学を大学で勉強しているのですが、現在は休学中です。

昔、高校での職業体験で自閉症を抱えた子どもたちの先生のアシスタントの経験をしたことがあります。
この経験から、英語を喋るかどうかに関わらず、子どもたちはみんな違っていて、それぞれにそれぞれの学び方があるのだと学ぶことができました。

そして、この経験で私はこれまでよりも理解のある粘り強い人間になることができたと思っています。
さらにその後には、高校生を対象に生物と数学を教えたこともあります。
ここでも生徒たちと向き合って、生徒がより勉強を理解し、学習することを楽しんでくれるためには、改めて生徒それぞれに違った向き合い方があるのだと実感したんです。
