その経験で身についた高いコミニケーション力で子供たちとすぐに打ち解けてしまうのはさすがといったところ。
現在では保育園で働いた経験から、日本で児童心理学を勉強し、将来は自ら保育園事業開拓を志す優秀な先生です！

Hello! My name is Leah and I was born in California, USA.

I’ve moved over 10+ times throughout my life though, so I consider a lot of places to be home! I grew up with many siblings that were younger than me and have previously worked at daycares, so I love to teach and play with children!

My native language is English, but I went to high school in Central America and picked up Spanish while I was there. Now, I am currently studying child psychology and Japanese at temple university. Because of my experience with language, I understand the rewarding, yet difficult process of being introduced to a foreign language at a young age. I believe that learning a second or third language is something that should be exciting and seamless for children so that they don’t even notice they’re learning.

I have always been a very soft-spoken person with a lot of compassion for others and oftentimes I find it hard to get angry. My goal in the future is to gain enough experience and knowledge to one day open my own daycare business and support the next generation as much as possible.

アメリカのカリフォルニア出身です！私は今までの人生の中でおよそ10回以上も色々な場所に引っ越してきました。なのでそのどれもが私の家と言える大切な場所です。私にはたくさんの妹や弟がいて、最近では保育園でも仕事をしていたので、子供たちに教えたり、子供達と一緒に遊んだりするのが大好きです！

私の母国語は英語ですが、中米の高校に通ったのでその期間にスペイン語を習得しました。現在では、児童心理学と日本語をテンプル大学で勉強しています。今までに様々な言語を学んできた経験があるので、学ぶ上での楽しさは誰よりも知っています。それに、幼い子供達に外国語を教えるという、やりがいもありまた難しいこのプロセスを私は理解しています。第二言語または第三言語を学ぶ際には、子供たちがそれを勉強とは思わず、刺激的で楽しいものと思って向き合う事がとても大事です。

私はいつも他人への思いやりのあるとても穏やかな話し方をしていて、少し怒るのが苦手なタイプの先生です。
将来の目標は、いつの日か自分の保育園事業を開拓し、十分な経験と知識を身につけた上で可能な限り次世代の子供達をサポートしていく事です！
